About.
Our Mission is to create a supportive online platform and offline programs where everyone’s voice, story and experience will be heard and supported. To create supportive avenues to unite different people and communities together for a better Canada.
United Avenue of Canada (UAC) was recently founded by Mrs. Brea Huang Sami, the Liberal candidate for Burnaby South in this year's federal election.
Brea was deeply moved by the many voices heard in our community during the federal election and hopes that through the establishment of the United Avenue of Canada and its platform that is currently under construction, UAC will offer to various Canadian communities a digitalized platform and easy-to-access avenue to put out their voices, to exchange and share their concerns, stories, opinions, and issues.
UAC is to encourage all members in our communities, either with different ethnic backgrounds, different groups, or different views, to be kind, compassionate, and tolerant for each other, and to break through the barriers brought about by ethnicity, skin color, gender, age, background, views, etc.
It’s to encourage the communities to be more understanding and respectful, caring and supportive for each other, and to work together against all forms of discrimination, prejudice, racism, violence, and injustice, etc.
We hope to prevent, fight against and reduce different kinds of similar negative incidents through positive, effective, and adequate communication, exchange, and learning about each other in a proactive and preventive manner.
UAC’s mission is to promote everyone in Canada to get involved in building our diverse community with unity, inclusivity, fairness, and security, and be a true part of the friendly and kind Canadian community that we are all proud to be.

Story of the Founder.
I am Brea Huang Sami, a mother of three, a wife, a professional worker, and a community volunteer.
After completing my Master's degree in Comparative Literature at Beijing Normal University, where I studied the contrast between Chinese and Western cultures, I moved to Canada with my husband Vikash, where I completed my degree in Accounting at UBC, obtained my CPA, and became an auditor, working for KPMG and DMCL for more than a decade.
My husband is an Indian origin from Fiji, and we have a large family of Chinese from Jamaica and European from local. So being in a large multicultural environment in Canada and a small multicultural environment in my own home has made me very focused on multiculturalism, ethnic harmony, community voice, and communication.
I have always been concerned about the injustice and unfairness faced by grassroots people like me, and I want to create a platform for our community and our country so that our grassroots issues can also have a platform to be expressed and taken seriously. Especially during the pandemic, many people were discriminated and their lives were threatened, which deeply resonated with me. Everyone in this society may suffer injustice to varying degrees, such as ethnic minorities, female employees, single mothers, elderly or disabled people who may be discriminated against in their lives, etc.
With the support of my husband, family, and friends, we worked together to figure out how to build this platform and how to help more people, this is the reason we started United Avenue Of Canada.

I'm Lance Nelson. With an extensive background in construction and safety, I've been working in building homes for people for decades. After intensive communication, I realized that a safe home is not the only thing people need, a safe community, an egalitarian environment, and a platform to share voices are also essential. That's why I want to put my energy, my experience, and my skills into United Avenue.
I'm Jiadan Wang, I have always had a passion for community services, and I had direct conversations with over a thousand neighbors to listen to their voices and opinions. I’d love to contribute my energy and my passion to this easy-to-access avenue to help people exchange and share concerns, stories, and issues.
